Drive through the Great Rift Valley to the park headquarters at Dinsho. Take a late afternoon walking safari across the Gaysay Grasslands to spot massive herds of endemic Mountain Nyala and Menelik’s Bushbuck.

Ascend to the tundra-like Sanetti Plateau (3,800m+). Spend the day searching for the Ethiopian Wolf—the world's rarest canid. Stand at the top of Mount Tullu Dimtu (4,377m), the fourth-highest peak in Ethiopia.
