Experience the heartbeat of East Africa at the iconic Ghion Hotel Gardens & Cultural Plaza in Addis Ababa. This immersive weekend festival brings together traditional instrumentalists, modern Ethio-jazz pioneers, culinary masters, and visual artists from across the nation. Over two unforgettable days, you will sample wild forest coffees, witness stunning traditional dances representing diverse ethnic groups, and vibrate to the rhythms of the kebero drum combined with contemporary sounds.

Heritage, Harvest & Ethio-Jazz (Saturday)
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM | The Great Coffee & Honey Bazaar: Kick off the weekend exploring stalls featuring organic honey and wild coffees from the Harenna Forest and Kaffa regions. Participate in competitive roasting exhibitions.
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM | Living Traditions Dance Pavilion: Witness a magnificent showcase of traditional dances, including the energetic Eskista from the highlands and rhythmic movements from the southern nations.
6:00 PM – 10:00 PM | Sunset Ethio-Jazz Session: Watch the sun go down as elite local and international artists blend traditional pentatonic scales with smooth jazz and funk.
Culinary Arts, Textiles & Modern Beats (Sunday)
10:30 AM – 1:30 PM | Masterclass Gastronomy: Watch top chefs compete to reinvent classic dishes like Doro Wat and Kitfo. Includes interactive cooking booths where you can learn to bake the perfect piece of Injera.
2:30 PM – 5:30 PM | Habesha Fashion & Art Runway: A vibrant outdoor display showcasing master weavers creating hand-spun cotton garments (Habesha Kemis), paired with contemporary fashion designs.
6:30 PM – 10:30 PM | Grand Finale Concert: A high-energy closing concert pairing traditional instruments like the Krar and Masenqo with modern electronic beats, closing with a spectacular fire performance.
